Dan McDowell

My entire life I've been immersed in technology. As a child my father would expose me to computers by sitting me on his lap and let me have a "turn". This quickly grew to spending time alone on a computer, followed by running programs and admittedly games on the DOS operating system. My interests grew, knowing this my father gave me my first PC which honestly became my life in my early years. I built my first computer when I was just 7 years old. Started building websites by age 10. Hosting my own dedicated servers on my "Rogers@Home" internet connection at 14. I started working in any technical position I could, ranging from Staples technology department to IBM contract work on the side. By 24 I had purchased my first home and been working in the industry in Toronto for several years.  In 2013 I met my beautiful wife April and in 2016 we found out we were expecting! We had been talking about moving to the country side for the last few years and this was the "straw that broke the camel's back". We moved to Sebringville and I began to work in Stratford. Our little boy Flynn was born, our lives turned upside down and we couldn't be more proud of our little man and the environment he gets to grow up in. Having worked and lived here for the last 20 months, I noticed that there is a lot of people and businesses in need of technical expertise. I also noticed most of the people working in Technology have been forced to move to the KW, London and Toronto areas. My goal with Eclipse Network is to provide the people of Perth technical solutions to meet the needs of today, tomorrow and years down the road.

Within the next five years we plan to hire local talent, keeping local talent local is one of our highest priorities.
